Downtown & Around

With a dynamic mix of dining and entertainment, downtown Mansfield offers boundless opportunities to enjoy the vibrant heart of the city.

Play & Explore

There’s something to do around every corner when you’re downtown. The Richland Carrousel Park is home to the first hand-carved carousel built in the U.S. since the 1930s. Even more impressive is that each of its 52 figures was created right here in Mansfield! Families will love the Buckeye Imagination Museum, where over 40 interactive exhibits offer creative play for little ones and exciting activities like laser tag, a spinning rock wall and a giant Jenga for older kids and adults. Next door, experience the magic of Broadway at the historic Renaissance Theatre, where performances come to life in the beautifully restored venue.

For both live music and good vibes, head to The Brickyard. From May through September, this outdoor venue hosts Final Fridays featuring a trifecta of top-notch bands. Head to Axe Social Lounge to test your aim in a friendly axe-throwing competition — the perfect way to spend date night or an evening with friends.

 Eat & Drink

Indulge in Mansfield’s dining scene with upscale options like Dan Lew Exchange (DLX) or Hudson & Essex. For extra-special occasions, venture to Prohibition at the Caverns and experience an eight-course, chef-curated meal underground. Savor authentic Greek dishes in a casual setting at Athena Greek Restaurant or unwind with a cup of tea in the cozy atmosphere of 3rd Cup Tea.

Wrap up your day over a pint of craft beer at The Phoenix Brewing Company, located in a restored 111-year-old former mortuary. Head upstairs to The Spirit Room for a more intimate experience, where soft lighting, sophisticated decor and an extensive whiskey selection complement handcrafted cocktails and fine wine.
