Weather in the area varies season to season, with a short spring that starts off chilly and wet (25-50º F), transitioning to pleasant, warm sunny days and cool, clear nights as the season heads into summer. Summers are sometimes humid and muggy, with temperatures typically in the 80-90°F (32°C)  range. Autumn is usually the driest season with many clear warm days and cool nights and some of America’s most spectacular fall color – a big draw for leaf peepers.  Fall temperatures hover around 30-50º F.
