On a visit to see my parents about 20 years ago, they had The Shawshank Redemption playing on their television. I hadn’t even heard of the movie. Forrest Gump was the big deal at the time. As I stood at my parent’s door watching this movie, never even sitting down, Shawshank Redemption became my favorite instantly.
