Spitzer Motor Speedway, formerly Mansfield Motorsports Park, will host its first racing event since July 2010 when it reopens Sunday afternoon. Gates open at noon Sunday, with hot laps at 1 p.m., qualifying at 3 p.m. and racing at 4:30 p.m. Fans will be treated to some of the fastest short track cars on the planet when the Midwest Supermodified Association headlines the card with a 30-lap feature. The Honda Indy 200 was given five more laps, going an even 90 for a race slated to start at 3:40 p.m. for a national television audience watching on NBC Sports Network. The Firestone Indy Lights return to Mid-Ohio for the first time since 2010, and it will hold a 40-lap race Sunday that will also be aired by the network.
