This free family festival has fun for all ages. The afternoon will include hands-on kids activates, archery, farm animals, fishing, and wagon rides. Food will be available for purchase.

Barn Dance at Malabar Farm State Park
In the Main Barn, continuing a Bromfield tradition. Beginners to square dancing welcome. Square and line dancing with music and square dance calling provided by the Back Porch Swing Band. All are welcome. Free.

Spring Plowing Days at Malabar Farm State Park
Watch as the local Draft Horse Club demonstrates their plowing skills and fun contest at the Working Farm Area. All are welcome for this free event. Skills and contest events will include horse pull, walking plow teams, obstacle course, log skidding and best dressed team.
Outdoor Yoga at Malabar Farm
Outdoor Yoga at Malabar Farm. All levels welcome. Traditional Yoga. Restrooms onsite. Bring your own mat (let me know if you need to borrow one)/ $20/person. Cash, Apple Pay, Venmo accepted. Maple Syrup Festival at Malabar Farm State Park
Experience the sugar camp at Malabar Farm with live historical demonstrations, horse drawn wagon rides, food and many great maple products for sale. Free Event and all are welcome.
Hike for Health at Malabar Farm State Park
Enjoy a day viewing the sites at Malabar. Meet at the visitor center to receive a map. This event is sponsored by the Richland County Health Department. Free.
Christmas at Malabar Farm
The Chordsmen will be singing at Malabar Farm from 5pm to 7pm. Admission is $5 (charged by the State Park to tour the “Big House”.)
Candlelight Holiday Tours at Malabar Farm
Tour the Big House while it’s decorated for the holidays and enjoy entertainment, cookies, and warm refreshments. Purchase tickets in the Visitor Center Gift Shop: $6 for adults and $4 for youth. December 2, 3, 9, & 10: 5-8pm and December 4 & 11: Noon-4pm.
