2018 Holiday Performances

Dec 1,7,8,14,15,16 – Mansfield Playhouse’s Elf the Musical Jr

Fans of the beloved holiday film will love this youth performance and musical rendition of the family comedy about Buddy the Elf and his adventure to find his birth father and return the spirit of Christmas to New York City.

Dec 2 – Mansfield Symphony Youth Orchestra Holiday Prelude

North Central Ohio’s finest youth musicians from a 12-county region will perform their Holiday concert featuring new arrangements of familiar holiday tunes as well as some lesser-known pieces. This year’s program will include classics like “O Holy Night” and “The First Noel”, rousing pieces from Tchaikovsky and Grieg, and so much more!

Dec 8,9 – Neos Dance Theatre presents a 1940s Nutcracker

A twist on the classic that pays tribute to the golden age of film, fashion, the industrial age, WWII, and American Christmas traditions. Set in Mansfield, Ohio, A 1940’s Nutcracker presents this timeless tale in an original production with dazzling visual effects.

Dec 15 – Mansfield Symphony Orchestra and Chorus Holiday Pops Concert

Ring in the season with the Mansfield Symphony Orchestra and Chorus for an enchanting, community favorite performance of contemporary and classic holiday songs and everyone’s favorite carol sing.

Nov.30-Dec.1 – Richland Academy of the Arts Nutcracker Performance

Introduce your children to the power and beauty of classical dance as the Richland Academy Dancers bring you a stunning production of The Nutcracker to Tchaikovsky’s magical score. Performed at Shelby High School, this rendition includes fairytale scenery and vibrant theatrical staging.
