Experience the wonder of alpacas at our small, working Alpaca Farm, and shop for something special made from their luxurious fiber, which is warmer than wool and softer than cashmere.

Native to South America, alpacas are fiber animals and raised for the fiber they produce.  They are sheared once a year, the fiber is spun into yarn, then made into beautiful products that are unbelievably soft, warm and hypoallergenic.  Considered to produce the fiber of royalty, alpacas are members of the camelid family.  They are mild-tempered, gregarious animals with an inquisitive nature and a charm about them that brings delight to their owners and visitors.

In our Farm Store you will find beautiful handmade alpaca gifts, clothing, socks, hats, gloves, scarves, teddy bears, finger puppets, and blankets, as well as luxuriously soft yarn made from alpaca. Get your hands on the incredibly soft yarn and finished items, then meet the alpacas that produce the fiber … truly a unique shopping experience!

Fiber Art Classes such as knitting, crocheting, needle felting, wet felting, and spinning are offered several times a month. Or gather a group of friends and design your own class.

Farm Tours for groups are available by appointment, May through November.  Get up close and learn the fascinating facts about alpacas, as well as Angora goats and Angora rabbits, or just stop by during Farm Store hours and see our beautiful alpacas!

Alpaca Walks are a unique and unforgettable experience, for groups of two to four people.

Special Events include our Spring Farm Days, Summer Market Days, Fall Farm Days, Yoga with Alpacas, Picnic with Alpacas, and Christmas Open House.  Be sure to check our Event Calendar to see what is planned!

Farm Tours for groups are available by appointment, May through November. Learn the fascinating facts about our beautiful alpacas on an educational and fun group tour.  On the farm tour, you’ll learn about the history of Alpacas, where they originate, how they’re used, and how we care for them. You’ll meet the alpacas and our guard llama, Silver Beauty, our angora goats, Mike, Ike, and Lola, and our angora rabbits, Mrs. Fitz and Simon, all of whom are fiber animals. Visitors will get the chance to feel the difference between each fiber and discover their unique qualities. Depending on the age and interest of the group, the tour can spend time in the fiber studio to learn the different steps involved in fiber processing, or see a carding and spinning demonstration. Save time to shop in the Farm Store, feel the softness of the alpaca yarn and products, then choose something to purchase that will remind you of your visit.
