We Wish You a Jazzy Christmas Featuring The Artistic Jazz Orchestra

A sparkling night of jazz and holiday spirit comes to Mansfield as the Renaissance Theatre presents “We Wish You a Jazzy Christmas” Featuring Artistic Jazz Orchestra. The Renaissance artistic team and AJO Artistic Director/Founder Paul Martin lead this fabulous evening of big band, ensemble, and vocal talent to bring new life to your holiday season. Paul Martin and the Artistic Jazz Orchestra—For over 30 years, Ashland native Paul Martin has led this amazing big band, the Artistic Jazz Orchestra (AJO). Originally organized to perform the music of the late great Stan Kenton, the AJO has built an impressive library of music dedicated to all things big band jazz, especially the music of the 1940’s through the 60’s. The band, over the last three decades, has developed into a unique group of musicians that know each other personally and musically—one might consider what they hear on stage to be much like a musical family, and most certainly a family having a lot of fun as they do what they do!
