Landscape Inspirations – A Kingwood Symposium

$65Kingwood’s annual Landscape Inspirations symposium returns on Saturday, April 13, 2024. This year’s topic is “Country Place Era”.
Celebrate the Country Place Era (1890-1930) of Kingwood Center Gardens — a time when American gardens were designed to emulate those in Europe with formal garden styles. Speakers will include Tres Fromme and Mark N. Gilles.
The keynote address will be presented by Tres Fromme, principal and founder of 3.fromme DESIGN, LLC.
Mark N. Gilles, proprietor, M. N. Gilles and former Director of Historic Preservation at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens, will also discuss how Stan Hwyet Hall Foundation restored the 12 major gardens on its estate.
Registration includes the symposium, morning refreshments, and admission to Kingwood Center Gardens.
