Inaugural Morel Festival
at Clearfork Adventure Resort
Bring your best Morels!! Cook em up, show off their size, abundance and beauty and win prizes! Categories for Largest, best recipe, most unique recipe, and more! Live music, drink specials, and all activities open! Reserve your campsite, or lodging cabin now!
Morel Fest 2017 Schedule
7am breakfast specials.
8am Grounds open for morel hunting.
10am participant table set up (we provide tables), remember save some mushrooms to enter best recipe contest. Start taking pics with proof of date and count your mushrooms for most found contest!
Danville Outdoors hunting expert will be on site with tips and a vendor booth. Special guest judges.
Grand Prize 4 pack activity passes! Lots of other great prizes!
12pm Judging and winners announced, prizes awarded!
1pm Callunaw Rednecks live, drink specials and early bird dinner specials!
You’ll be able to go anywhere on our property, and we have 200 acres. Lots of trails and paths. We’ve not let anyone hunt here before, so this is the first time. And it’s all free, no fee to hunt or to enter the competition!
Whether there are hundreds or just handfuls of morels to be found on the grounds of the Clear Fork Adventure Resort remains to be seen, but it promises to be a fun day either way.
