Sunday morning came as participants of the 26th annual Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure (GOBA) left the Richland County Fairgrouds for a week-long biking / camping tour (June 14-21). But before leaving town, they got to experience Mansfield & Richland County with the dining, shopping, and touring options that are so plentiful in our area. The CVB manned a local info booth at the fairgrounds with staff and volunteers and helped arrang shuttle routes to make navigating the options even easier. Saturday night showcased a bike parade and costume contest traveling from the fairgrounds and ending in downtown Mansfield with opening ceremonies and The Jimmy Warner Band.
Thank you for all the local support that made the Mansfield portion of the GOBA tour a huge success. Over 50 local volunteers and many organizations helped create a positive experience for GOBA riders.
