What started out as just a store for fencing supplies has become a hardware store with a rather unconventional range of products. They still offer all you need to build a fence, but in addition to the paint supplies and the gardening tools you’d expect to find, but other departments include cast iron cookware, canning supplies, premium loose leaf teas, American-made products, and an emergency preparedness department. Planktown also features a large selection of everything you would need to make handmade soaps, lotions, lip balm and bath bombs, including how-to classes. They carry homemade bath and body products if you don’t feel up to making it yourself. Essential oils and detox kits are available to help with overall health. With toys for the kids and a livestock and domestic pets department (overseen by Biscuit and Stanley)… no one is left out at Planktown Hardware.
