Spring Birding Boat Tours

Join Ohio Bird Sanctuary Founders, Gail & Chris Laux for a Birding Boat Tour on the Clear Fork Reservoir.
This is a fund-raising event to support the Ohio Bird Sanctuary’s rehabilitation efforts!
Do this as a special treat for yourself or make it a special gift for a bird lover or a super fun gathering of friends and family!
Meet at the Clearfork Marina. Saturday, May 17th. Two Tours: 9-11am & 12:30-2:30pm. Rain Date: May 18th.
Join us for some incredible birding! The Clear Fork Reservoir is home to nesting Bald Eagles, Osprey, Cormorants, and a variety of waterfowl species. This 971-acre lake is also a popular stopping point for migrating birds. Birding from a boat will offer opportunities to see these birds up close on the water and hopefully capture a glimpse of migrating warblers along the waters edges.
To make the outing even more fun, we are serving a light brunch with the 9am tour and a light lunch with the 12:30 tour. Adult beverages and soft drinks will be available with both tours.
