Shred Like a Girl

We are stoked to announce the ‘Shred Like A Girl’ skate jam coming to Stoke Run Skatepark on March 2! This all day event celebrates women and girls in all areas of skating. The supportive and encouraging community of women in skateboarding and roller skating is amazing and we are here for it! The event runs from 10am – 4pm and will include goodie bags, prizes, workshops, contests, snacks and a mini art fair! From 12-1pm there will be a beginner’s workshop taught by local skaters on the basics of skating. The main events kick off at 2pm with a jam and best trick contest. Prizes will be given out for ‘Most Improved’, ‘Best Trick’ and ‘Most Hype’ – When you need a break from the action, check out the art fair happening featuring art from local skaters. So whether you’ve always wanted to try, or want to meet like minded girls, or you’re ready to compete – It is sure to be a rad day celebrating women who skate!!
