Senior Social Sunday Watercolor cards at Mansfield Art Center

Cost: $0 – Funded by the Social Isolation Grant through Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging

The Mansfield Art Center is thrilled to announce a new arts education program for seniors combating social isolation; the Senior Social Sunday Art Club. Thanks to the Area Agency on Aging, the MAC has been granted the opportunity to kick off this incredible initiative. Starting May 21, seniors (age 60+) will be able to join us in the studios the first three Sundays of each month for a chance to connect and create through the power of art. Each class will have a maximum of 15 students per Sunday and seniors will be able to register for free online or by calling 419.756.1700. All participants must be residents of Richland County.

This week’s class will teach you how to easily make cards, whether thank you cards, holiday greetings, etc. To do this we will be using watercolor to create simple yet beautiful flowers that are appropriate no matter the occasion.
