Spring has sprung! Create tulips in a vase using soft pastels and pencil. This is a fun beginners class to learn to blend colors. Follow along with Kate and learn how to rough draw tulips, color, and add little details to complete the 9”x7” picture. At the end of class you will have a frameable-worthy picture to take home, and remind you that winter is finally over!
In this adult class students will learn how to create a rough image of tulips using a reference image to tulips, and shapes. Once the shapes are in place, a demonstration will take place on how to use complementary colors blend together to make shadow, and a nice blend. Each student will understand different blending techniques and use the one they like the most. Once their rough image is completely filled in, details will be added in with pencil to complete the image.
