Linoleum Carving and Christmas Card Printing Workshop at the Mansfield Art Center

In this hands-on workshop, adults will learn the art of linoleum carving to create their own unique Christmas cards. Participants will be guided step-by-step through the process of transferring a design onto linoleum, carving the negative space, and printing their design onto cards. By the end of the class, each participant will have a set of personalized Christmas cards ready to share with friends and family.
Class Objectives:

Printing Techniques
– Introduction to different printing methods (e.g., hand printing, using a press).

– Printing on final card stock.
– Drying and setting the prints.
– Adding personalized touches (e.g., coloring, embellishments).
