Kids Clay Animal Friend at Mansfield Art Center

In this class students will learn techniques to create a small pinch pot which flipped upside-down serves as a perfect starting point to create a little critter! This can be any animal real or imaginary from a dragon with horns to a simple cat or dog, it’s all in the details.  Students are encouraged to create arms, ears and a tail to add to their critter before moving on to adding color to them. They will use underglazes to paint on designs that is covered in a clear to create a glossy finish with bold colors!

This class is intended for kids and their families alike, come and join the fun! Each person planning to make an animal of their own must be registered to have a seat in the class.
