Infant and Toddler—Explore Music!
February 7, 2022 @ 10:30 am
Parents and Caregivers!
Are you struggling to find fun, educational, FREE, activities for your little ones during the week? Is your toddler sensory seeking and you’ve run out of ideas to keep them engaged during the day? Are you tired and exhausted from just trying to maintain your sanity during a global pandemic?
Hi, I’m Maddie Penwell and I “get it”. I have a 1 year old named Ollie who LOVES to be active and engaged in his surroundings at all times – meanwhile, I’d just like to drink my coffee while it’s hot. During the summer months, we were able to be outside playing, going for walks, exploring nature but now that the weather is turning, I’m wondering how we are going to survive without getting cabin fever!
I’m currently the Director of Education, Community Engagement, and Symphony at the Renaissance Theatre and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Musical Theatre from Ashland University.
Join me and Ollie, on Mondays, January 10th, 24th, and February 7th at 10:30 AM in the Ballroom of the Renaissance Theatre. We will explore and engage with music (and each other) through group and solo activities to open our minds and hearts to the joy of music-making and appreciation. All ages from birth to Preschool age are welcome and this is an open, sensory friendly environments where all can participate to their comfort level. This is also a great way to make new connections with other sleep deprived parents and caregivers who “get it” and grow your network and community.
The event is free and coffee and snacks will be provided.
Every child must have an adult present.
