Holiday Stockings – Tufting Club at The MAC

Join us at the Mansfield Art Center and create your own tufted stocking! This 6 hour class will introduce students on how to operate a tufting gun as well as cut, glue and shave their own tufted piece. Students will work on their own designs on a 30×30 frame. Frame, cloth, yarn, backing and tufting gun are all included in the cost of this class.
You will be able to create at least two custom stockings on our 30×30 frame – or one huge stocking – or several little ones. Choose any of our designs: Christmas tree, reindeer, snowflake or create your own to put on your stocking! Plus add a name on top to customize it for you or a loved one.
In the first class you will learn how to operate the tufting gun and apply adhesive to the back of your piece(s). In the second class we will shave and back your stockings to make them functional!
