Cork & Clay-Sgraffito Vessel

Come join us in learning a new pottery, under-glazing technique. In this cork and clay workshop, your 8 inch pottery vessel will be pre-thrown by our staff and ready for you to learn how to Sgraffito your way to a unique and interesting pottery piece.
Sgraffito is a form of decoration made by scratching through a surface to reveal a lower layer of a contrasting color, typically done in slip on ceramics before firing. This etching-style technique is beautiful regardless if you are building your skills, or just a beginner.
We are committed to a social distancing format and will be outside when possible. There are only 10 available spots, with no flexibility-sign up soon.
