Colorful Spring Felted Flower Workshop at Burton Park

Spring is in the air, and it is time to get into the mood with some beautiful, colorful felted flowers. In this class, you will use both wet felting and needle felting techniques to create gorgeous flowers that are just out of this world! You can use your creations in brooches, earrings, spring flower arrangements, wreaths, or any way you can imagine.
Needle felting uses special needles and wool to sculpture anything from two-dimensional pictures to sculptures. It is a relaxing craft with limitless possibilities. Ginger will teach you the techniques, and then you can use those techniques to make creative designs of your own. You can choose from gorgeous colors of wool roving, and Ginger will have needles and other equipment to borrow.

Age: 10+
Class limited to 15, so be sure to preregister to hold your spot. Call the Parks Department at 419-522-9801 to reserve your spot. Participants must pay first to be registered for the class.
