Color Our World” Art Exhibit Opens June 16 at Mansfield Richland County Main Public Library.
The Mansfield Richland County Main Public Library, in partnership with the Mansfield Public Art Commission, is proud to announce the opening of the vibrant and imaginative art exhibit, Color Our World, on June 16, 2025 and will run until September 5. This exciting exhibit is in conjunction with the library’s Color Our World-themed summer reading program showcasing the creativity of local artists and inviting visitors to explore the beauty and diversity of color in the world around us.
Color Our World features a wide range of works, from abstract to representational art, with each piece expressing the artists’ interpretations of color as a central theme. Whether through painting, drawing or mixed media, the exhibit offers a kaleidoscopic view of how color can reflect culture, emotion, and our world around us.
“The collaboration between the Mansfield Richland County Main Public Library and the Mansfield Public Art Commission brings together the best of our community’s talent,” said Jennifer Pennell, public art commission chair. “Color Our World is a celebration of the role art plays in enriching our lives and connecting us to each other.”
The exhibition, located in the Main Library’s second floor atrium, will be open for viewing during the library’s regular hours throughout the summer. Families, art lovers, and visitors of all ages are encouraged to stop by and experience the rich, colorful diversity of local art.
