Clay Coasters at the Mansfield Art Center

In this class starting with a simple slab students can cut coasters of any shape, though even a simple circle as a start can lead to a complex coaster based on impressions or other added pieces of clay. A full set is considered four coasters though students are welcome to do up to six if they so choose! In addition to the coasters themselves it is encouraged to also make a holder for them!
Remember to return on August 16th as it is the Glaze date for this class! This is when colors are added to your piece, along with a few tricks to create stunning visuals. Each students coasters are sure to be unique and functional!
