Book Reading of Seuss-like “The Fate of the Frog”

Created in honor of Dr. Seuss and his concerns regarding Sustainability, Ohio Illustrator Stacy Fabbre and North Carolina Author Melissa Rooney’s children’s book, The Fate of the Frog, combines engaging illustrations and playful verse that is as fun to read aloud as it is to listen to. Using an engaging plot told in Seuss-like anapestic tetrameter, The Fate of the Frog addresses the importance of water resources as well as other K-2 curricula topics.
The book is set to release on June 10, 2018. Join in the fun with both author and illustrator at the pre-release party at Main Street Books (104 North Main Street) from 3-4 PM on June 9th. This science-based event is free and open to the public and includes Family Q&A/discussion, reading of The Fate of the Frog, and a make-and-take plush tadpole craft using 100% recycled materials.
