Apple cider pressing at Malabar Farm’s Ohio Heritage Days to kick off Appleseed’s 250th Birthday in 2024.
Kick off the Johnny Appleseed’s 250th birthday celebration at Ohio Heritage Days at Malabar Farm State Park. The FREE event will run on Saturday, September 23 & Sunday, September 25, 2023 from 10am-4pm both days.
The Johnny Appleseed Historic Byway group & the Malabar Farm Foundation will be doing old fashioned apple cider pressing with free samples. Give a try at chopping apples and pressing them into fresh Ohio apple cider.
The apple press demonstration will be located at the Ceely Rose Historical House at Malabar Farm. Sit and chat with Johnny Appleseed reenactor, Appleseed display and Byway promotion both days from 10am-4pm.
