An Old-fashioned Christmas is planned to take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 15 at the Mansfield Blockhouse, 100 Brinkerhoff Ave.

The free event will feature hot cider, plum pudding, cookies, costumed re-enactors, historical items and music. The event is sponsored by Richland Early American Center for History (REACH).

The Samuel Lewis Chapter, Daughters of 1812, will be decorating for the event and member Joyce Vannatter has constructed a gingerbread log cabin for a raffle to benefit reconstruction of the REACH log cabin.
