It’s that time of year where everything gets a little more chaotic, but it’s also the time to slow down and spend some quality time with family and friends. If you’re planning on visiting some of these popular attractions, please make note of their limited holiday hours and plan accordingly.
The Ohio State Reformatory
Open now through December 23 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursdays through Sundays only. Take a self-guided tour of the halls and cells of the Reformatory, but make sure to dress warm; parts of the building are not heated.
Kingwood Center Gardens
Kingwood Center Gardens will be open for Christmas at Kingwood now through December 30. From 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursdays through Sundays, tour the beautifully decorated Kingwood Hall and see the mesmerizing display of lights throughout the grounds.
Snow Trails
Snow Trails has suspended operations through December 13. They will reopen December 14 from 10 a.m. to midnight. Vertical Descent Tubing Park will also open December 14 from 5 p.m. to midnight. Check out Snowtrails.com for up-to-date info on snow conditions and to purchase lift tickets. Make sure to reserve your spots for Glow Tubing early because this viral attraction sells out frequently.

The Gift Shop will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. through 5:30 p.m. through the end of April. You can also tour The Big House on Saturdays and Sundays at 12 p.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. now through the end of April. Farm Tours will pick up again in May 2019.
