Your favorite fall activities are here! Fun at the Barnyard is every Sat/Sun till Oct 22nd. Pick your own apples all month at Apple Hill Orchards. Be sure and stop in for special events like Kids Day (Oct 1) and their Harvest Celebration (Oct 15). Have fun in “the core of Appleseed Country” at the Butler Apple Fest (Oct 12-14). Kingwood Center Gardens presents this year’s Great Pumpkin Glow (Oct 14-15), featuring hundreds of glowing pumpkins, hayrides, live music and more. Purchase a Pumpkin Pass and gain admission to both the Pumpkin Glow and Little Buckeye Children’s Museum.
Halloween may not be till the 31st, but you can celebrate all month long. Take a Public Ghost Walk at The Haunted Bissman Building (Oct 7). Or face your fears as you try to Escape From Blood Prison at The Ohio State Reformatory (Weekends Oct 19-Nov 5). Have fun with the kids, bring costumes, carve pumpkins, and enjoy live entertainment on a Halloween Campout Weekend at Pleasant Hill Lake Park (Oct 13-14). Enjoy a night of decadent food and certain death at Kingwood Center Gardens for Murder at the Mansion mystery dinner theater (Oct 28). Have a traditional Halloween in Mansfield and enjoy the Downtown Historic Carrousel District at Monsterfield Masquerade (Oct 28).
