The Great Mohican Pow-Wow is an annual festival held at the Mohican Reservation Festival Grounds in Loudonville, Ohio. The Pow-Wow is a tradition of the Native American people to come and gather for a time of fellowship, dancing, singing, and competition. This authentic Native American Pow-Wow features a weekend of traditional dance and drum competitions, food, music, and over 40 top artisans displaying and selling their crafts. Some of the works of the artisans include basket weaving, beadwork, feather work, knives, leather crafts, pottery, painting, and more. Admission is $8.00 for adults and $4.00 for children. The Great Mohican Pow-Wow is an excellent event for families and a unique opportunity to experience Native American history, culture, and lifestyle for yourself.
