The Teddy Bear Concert: Carnival of the Animals invites young audiences and their families to experience the magic of live music in a welcoming and interactive setting. This special performance features Camille Saint-Saëns’ beloved work, The Carnival of the Animals, brought to life with an engaging original script by Michael Thomas. Children and families will join musicians from the Mansfield Symphony for an immersive musical adventure that includes storytelling, audience participation, and playful characters. Designed for children ages 2 to 10, the concert provides a sensory-friendly experience with small audience sizes, lights up, and lower sound levels. Attendees are encouraged to sit on stage alongside the performers, fostering a fun and approachable environment for first-time concertgoers. This joyful program celebrates imagination, movement, and the wonders of live performance, supported through the Mechanics Bank Education Series and collaborations with Nationwide Children’s Hospital and the Ohio Arts Council.
