The Teddy Bear Concert: Carnival of the Animals invites young audiences and families to enjoy the magic of live music in an engaging and interactive setting. This special performance features Camille Saint-Saëns’ beloved work, The Carnival of the Animals, brought to life with an original script by Michael Thomas. Children and families will join musicians from the Mansfield Symphony for an immersive musical adventure filled with storytelling, audience participation, and playful characters. Tailored for children ages 2 to 10, the concert offers a sensory-friendly experience with small audience sizes, lights on, and lower sound levels. Attendees can sit on stage with the performers, creating a fun environment that makes music approachable for first-time concertgoers. This joyful program celebrates imagination, movement, and the wonders of live performance, made possible through the Mechanics Bank Education Series and support from Nationwide Children’s Hospital and the Ohio Arts Council.
