Create Your Own Needle Felted Santa!
Get into the holiday spirit with a festive afternoon of needle felting at Alpaca Meadows! You’ll learn step-by-step techniques while creating a one-of-a-kind Santa to enjoy for years to come.
Beginners can start with a charming roly-poly Santa—a simpler design that’s a great introduction to needle felting. Those with previous felting experience, or anyone ready for more of a challenge, can add arms and legs, boots, mittens, fur cuffs, and other special details.
Needle felting uses a special barbed needle to repeatedly work natural fibers together, allowing you to shape alpaca and wool fiber into three-dimensional sculptures. You’ll learn how to shape and sculpt fiber, build dimension, and add facial features and personality. The skills you learn can be used to create many other needle felted projects.
Beginners are welcome! No previous needle felting experience is necessary.
All materials are included, and felting tools and a foam work surface are provided for use during class.
Class runs from 1–4 PM.
This class is designed for ages 16 and older. Youth ages 12–15 may participate when registered with an adult companion who is also enrolled in the class.
