Pleasant Hill Pirate Weekend

Friday, July 31                     
4-5pm        Nature Center Open – Visit the Welcome Center Nature Room to learn the animals of the lake!
6-8pm        Traveling Program Golf Cart – Watch for the traveling program golf cart with weekend schedules.
8-9pm        Games and Snacks – Spend time with family and friends at the Welcome Center, playing board games and snacking on vitamin C-rich foods to prevent scurvy.
 
Saturday, August 1            Pirate Weekend
9-10am        Nature Center Open – Visit the Welcome Center Nature Room to learn the animals of the lake!
11am-12pm Compass Scavenger Hunt – Pick up a map at the Welcome Center and search for the hidden clues!
1-2pm        Pirate Craft for Kids – Create your own Pirate eye patch at the Welcome Center. An adult must accompany all children.
3-4pm          Pirate Games and Facepainting – Play pirate games and have a pirate mustache or cheek scar painted on your face at the Welcome Center.
5-6pm        Pictures with a Pirate – If you have always wanted to take a picture with a pirate and ship, head to the beach area for your chance. Win a bandana by dressing as a pirate for the picture!
7-8pm          Hidden Treasure Scavenger Hunt – Dig for buried treasure to trade for pirates’ booty at the beach.
9-10pm        Glow Golf Cart Poker Run – Meet at the Welcome Center to compete for the best and worst hand at our glow golf cart poker run. $5 per hand; cash only. Prizes for the best and worst poker hands!
