Partners in Education Workshop: “Comics: Visual and Verbal Literacy” with Jerzy Drozd
Back by popular demand, teaching artist Jerzy Drozd will lead teachers through modeling activities based on arts-integrated lessons developed during his eighteen years of experience. Educators will learn how students can bolster literacy skills through image-making activities, while experiencing and actively working to build a set of crucial arts-integrated skills, ones that will set their students up for deeper learning in every subject area.
