49th Annual Ohio Heritage Days

Join us for the 49th Annual Ohio Heritage Days on September 26 and 27 from 10 am to 4 pm, celebrating Ohio’s rich cultural and agricultural heritage at Malabar Farm. This free event features a wide array of activities, including traditional crafts and demonstrations such as blacksmithing, broom making, quilting, and wool spinning, alongside modern handmade crafts. Experience living history camps showcasing eras from the 1700s to WWII, enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides, and explore archaeological displays and educational exhibits that highlight local history. Don’t miss the antique tractor displays and free self-guided tours of the historic Big House and the Ceely Rose House, home of Pulitzer Prize-winning author Louis Bromfield. Delight your taste buds with offerings from various food vendors and enjoy live music and entertainment throughout the day.

The festivities continue Saturday evening with a lively barn dance from 7 to 10 pm in the Main Barn—everyone is welcome, whether you’re dancing solo, with a partner, or alongside friends and family. Remember, children must be accompanied by an adult, and all activities are conducted with safety in mind. Join us for a weekend of history, food, and fun!
