INVASIVE PLANT REMOVAL DROP-IN
Join North Central Ohio Land Conservancy and the Richland County Park
District this summer for a hands-on volunteer opportunity to identify and remove
invasive plant species while supporting healthy native ecosystems. Whether you’re
an experienced steward or brand new to conservation work, everyone is welcome!
📅 Date: Thursday 7/23 & Tuesday 8/18
⏰ Time: 9:00 am – 11:30 am
🚶 Drop-In Format:
No registration required — come anytime during program hours!
📍 Location: Hemlock Falls Trailhead (5360 Bunkerhill North Rd, Butler, OH)
What You’ll Do
✅ Learn to identify common invasive plants
✅ Assist with removal efforts
✅ Support native habitat restoration
✅ Connect with community members who care about the environment
What to Bring
● Comfortable outdoor clothing, preferably long pants
● Closed-toe shoes
● Water bottle
● Work gloves, if desired
● Sun protection
