Hat Crochet Class – Beginner

Crochet is one of the simplest yet most versatile fiber arts! Whether you’re picking up a hook for the first time or returning for a refresher after years away, this Hat Crochet Class is for you.

You’ll learn how to create a fun hat and, if desired, a pair of fingerless mitts. Both projects are made in two flat pieces and then sewn together. You’ll learn essential skills including how to hold a crochet hook and yarn for proper tension, make a slip knot, chain stitch, and work half-double crochet stitches. We’ll also cover how to read a crochet pattern and understand a yarn label.
