Field of Monsters, Altered Art at the Phoenix: Art Drop Off & Details

The 12th Anniversary 2025 Field of Monsters Painting exhibition is on the horizon!

You are invited to display your Monster-themed upcycled artwork during the spooky holiday season.

How can you participate? Create an artwork on recycled or repurposed artworks, and like the name suggests, include a monster. Pick out an artwork from the attic or your local thrift store, and add your spooky creature or monster. Or try the mini version, a postcard.

POSTCARDS:
For those wishing to create on a smaller scale, consider an altered postcard. Postcards will be arranged into a larger communal display. You may submit up to 5 postcards per person. Postcards should be mailed to: The Phoenix Brewing Company, ATTN: RED, 131 N Diamond Street, Mansfield, Ohio, 44902, by September 18, 2026. Postcards may also be dropped off in person during the artwork drop-off times. Postcards will not be returned.

DROP-OFF OF FINISHED WORKS:
Wednesday, September 23, 2026 between 3 pm and 8 pm in the Phoenix beer garden. Works will not be accepted outside of these hours.

DROP-OFF LOCATION:
The Phoenix Brewing Company, Beer Garden, 131 N. Diamond Street, Mansfield, Ohio.

SHOW DATES:
Opens Thursday, October 1 at 3 pm and closes on Sunday, November 1, 2026 Works can be viewed during business hours.

Join us for a casual Meet the Monsters Opening reception on Thursday, October 1, from 4 pm to 6 pm. Come back for the closing reception and auction on November 1, beginning at 4 pm.

Works may be rejected if they are obscene, or deemed unsafe or hazardous to display. One entry per person please. 21 and over.

The venue may choose to not display works deemed to be inappropriate, crude, or offensive, or hateful.
