Pleasant Hill Independence Day Shedule
Join us for a memorable Independence Day Weekend celebration from July 2nd to July 5th, honoring America’s 250th birthday at Pleasant Hill and Charles Mill/Seneca Lake Park!
**Thursday, July 2** kicks off the festivities with activities at Pleasant Hill including a Nature Center open from 4-5pm, a Traveling Golf Cart distributing schedules from 5-7pm, and Popsicles & Board Games from 8-9pm. At Charles Mill, enjoy a Traveling Program & Craft from 6-7pm, Family BINGO at 7:30pm, and an Ice Cream Social at the Messerly Recreation Center, alongside beach BINGO and DJ entertainment leading to fireworks at dusk.
**Friday, July 3** features a Creek Walk at Pleasant Hill from 10-11am, a Fishing Game for Kids, and various activities like Giant Kickball and Family BINGO throughout the day. In the evening, settle in for a screening of “Superman” at the lake. Meanwhile, Charles Mill offers Coffee & Donuts for a relaxed morning, children’s activities, a Cornhole competition, a Golf Cart Parade, and a Catfish Tournament, culminating in live music and fireworks.
**Saturday, July 4** is packed with themed crafts at Pleasant Hill, such as a Dry BBQ Rub Workshop for adults and a Patriotic Windcatcher Craft for kids, alongside T-shirt Tie Dye and Sandcastle Building. Be sure to catch the live music from The Northwest Territory. Charles Mill features a Bike Parade, Painting with Linda, and more crafts, culminating in live music from Blues Mob and fireworks, while Seneca offers additional activities and a captivating fireworks display.
**Sunday, July 5** wraps up the weekend with a non-denominational church service at Atwood, providing a reflective conclusion to a weekend filled with crafts, games, music, and spectacular fireworks. Celebrate with family and friends in a festive atmosphere!
