**Pleasant Hill Hot Dog Weekend & Charles Mill Campground Olympics Event Description**

Join us for a thrilling celebration of community and nature at the Pleasant Hill Hot Dog Weekend and Charles Mill Campground Olympics!

**Thursday, July 2:** Kickstart the festivities with an open Nature Center from 4-5 pm, where you can explore what native animals eat. From 5-7 pm, keep an eye out for our traveling golf cart to grab event schedules. Wind down at the Welcome Center from 8-9 pm with popsicles and board games.

**Friday, July 3:** Celebrate America 250 with a variety of activities! Start with a creek walk at 10 am, then engage in a fishing game for kids at noon. The Nature Center will be open again at 2 pm, followed by a giant kickball game at 4 pm. Join Family BINGO at 6 pm and finish off the day with a PG-13 movie by the lake starting at 9 pm.

**Saturday, July 4:** Happy America 250! Adults can learn to create a dry BBQ rub from 10-11 am. Kids can make patriotic windcatchers at noon, and participate in a t-shirt tie-dye session from 2-3:30 pm for just $5. Enjoy sandcastle building at the beach from 4-5:30 pm, and unwind with live bluegrass music from The Northwest Territory and food trucks from 6:30-9:30 pm.

**Charles Mill Campground Olympics (July 10-12):** The excitement continues with a weekend full of activities at the Charles Mill Campground! Kick off on Friday, July 10, with a traveling program from 6-7 pm, leading to Family BINGO from 7:30-8:30 pm. On Saturday, July 11, enjoy a guided nature hike, kids fishing tournament, crafts at the Nature Center, and various games, including Olympic-themed events. End your weekend on Sunday, July 12, with a non-denominational church service at 10:15 am.
