Talking to Monkeys, My Adventures in Africa

The Women’s Fund of the Richland County Foundation will host a free community lecture at Ohio State University at Mansfield. OSU Mansfield Associate Professor Dawn Kitchen will present “Talking to Monkeys, My Adventures in Africa” Wednesday, July 13 at 6:30 p.m. in Reidl Hall. This is the third presentation in a series of free educational lectures offered throughout the year by the Women’s Fund. The lecture is family friendly and appropriate for school-aged children.
Women’s Fund of the Richland County Foundation will celebrate its 20th anniversary this year. It was created in 1996 to promote philanthropy among women and to provide funding to programs to empower women and girls. Since its inception the Women’s Fund has awarded close to $289,000 in grants, including 29 scholarships to non-traditional female undergraduate students.
