Pastoral in the Park – Lexington’s 4th of July Celebration

The V.F.W. in Lexington invites you to attend the annual Pastoral in the Park, on July 4th! It all starts with a Parade at 10am from Western Elementary and ending at Bicentennial Park, where there will be live music from the AFM Local 159 Concert band, free kids activities, various booths to enjoy, Emergency Response vehicles to explore, free bounce house, and even a bicycle parade!  And, there are contests! Kids, come and decorate your bikes for the festivities and enter to win a prize! There will be a spiritwear contest, decorated bike contest, even a “most patriotic picnic” contest! And, the first 100 people get a free lunch! Bring a lawn chair, and come be part of Lexington’s annual “Pastoral in the Park”. For parade entry, contact the V.F.W. Post 5101 by June 25th.
