Renaissance Artistic Director Michael Thomas brings this beloved holiday tale to life in One Night, One Man Christmas Carol—a wildly inventive, mostly improvised performance that’s equal parts comedy, chaos, and Christmas spirit.

Thomas portrays over 250 characters in this solo retelling, complete with wigs, props, puppets, and plenty of audience participation. Expect sing-alongs, games, and prizes, along with Jeno’s Pizza Rolls (limit one—or none if we run out), and a healthy dose of good-natured absurdity. It’s a performance that celebrates everything wonderfully ridiculous about the holidays.

Written, directed, produced, and barely memorized by Michael Thomas, this one-night-only event offers a uniquely hilarious spin on Dickens’ classic—infused with historical inaccuracies, questionable holiday traditions, and plenty of laughter.

Seating is very limited, and tickets are general admission for $50 in our intimate Ghostlight Lounge. This special performance serves as a fundraiser supporting the Renaissance Performing Arts Association.
