DESCRIPTION:Based on the popular Disney Channel Original Movies\, Disney’s Descendants: The Musical is a brand-new musical comedy featuring the beloved characters and hit songs from the film trilogy. In the present-day kingdom of Auradon\, all of Disney’s heroes and royalty are living happily ever after\, safe from the villains and sidekicks they have banished to the magic-free Isle of the Lost. That is until Ben\, the son of Belle and The Beast\, offers redemption to the troublemaking children of Disney’s evilest villains – Maleficent\, the Evil Queen\, Cruella De Vil\, and Jafar. The evil offspring are welcomed to Auradon Prep to attend school with the children of their parents’ sworn enemies. By entering a completely foreign world and new way of life\, the four Villain Kids have a difficult choice to make: should they follow in their parents’ wicked footsteps or learn to be good? Offering a universal message that everyone starts as an innocent\, and should be judged by their actions\, and not those of others\, the MY Theatre production\, directed by Dauphne Maloney and with musical direction by Brian K. Nabors\, Descendants features an energetic score including\, “Rotten to the Core\,” “Evil Like Me\,” and “Good is the New Bad.”
