SUMMARY:MY Theatre: Disney's Descendants: The Musical (Sensory-Friendly)
DESCRIPTION:Disney’s Descendants: The Musical (Sensory-Friendly) will close MY Theatre’s fifth season of sensory-friendly performances of youth theatre musicals for families with children and adults on the autism-spectrum and other developmental disabilities. This production is best suited for those audience members who are 12 years of age and older\, and their families; but audience members of any age may attend. MY Theatre’s Sensory-Friendly performances began with Shrek: The Musical in 2017\, and the program has continued to engage and excite audience members of all ages. Musicals are performed in a friendly\, supportive environment with slight adjustments to the production\, including the reduction of any jarring sounds or lights focused into the audience area. Within the theatre\, there is a quiet and play area\, if family members need to leave their seats during the performance. For these special performances\, no-cost\, limited seating is available to individuals and families with developmental disabilities.
