SUMMARY:Introduction to Nature Journaling
DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, August 11th from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.\nInterested in getting started with nature journaling? Come to Kate’s workshop! Through drawing and writing\, nature journaling encourages us to closely observe and learn about our natural world\, be more mindful\, and create memories.  In this workshop\, you’ll be introduced to a few nature journaling techniques and possible journaling materials. Then we’ll go out for a walk and do some journaling! Cost: Members of Friends of Richland County Park District — free; Nonmembers $5. Registration: The deadline is August 4th\, 2021. To register\, send attendee name(s)\, contact\ninformation\, and Friends membership status to rcpdfriends2021@gmail.com with “Workshop” in the subject line. Nonmembers should bring cash or a check made out to Friends of RCPD on the evening of the workshop. (Nonmembers have the option of joining the Friends at the workshop. You may bring your own portable kit of art supplies in a backpack or similar. Otherwise\, we’ll provide materials for your use during the workshop.
