SUMMARY:Fall Folklore: Making & Magic at CaliFarmer
DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to invite you to our Fall Folklore: Making & Magic event October 16th at CaliFarmer\, 705 Mansfield-Lucas Road\, at the site of the former Webels Fruit Farm. \n\n\nWe will be carving pumpkins and learning the origins of the jack-o-lantern with the kids. @hungerisnotachoice will be serving up carrot dogs with other autumn treats.  Family pumpkin carving will be held 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 16. Cost is $20. Snacks will be provided.  For tickets for the kids’ event\, click HERE.\n\nCaliFarmer has a second event for adults. Folklore\, Food\, Bonfire Making at 3 p.m. Oct. 16. $45 including meditation\, making witches torches\, herbalism\, beet and turnip Jack-O-Lanterns and tarot readings. Snacks will be provided. BYOB.  We will roll back through history and will learn the origins of the jack-o-lantern and will carve the original jack-o-lantern. All participants will construct a witch torch out of items foraged from the farm. We will wrap the day day with a bonfire\, tarot readings and a seasonal meditation.
