Join Chess Bus for another Chess Day at the Mall, a fun, welcoming chess event for players of all ages and skill levels.

11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Free Chess Lessons
Open instruction for beginners and improving players. No experience required. -
12:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Arena Tournament
Fast-paced, continuous-play tournament open to all players. We do use a clock with 15 minutes per player and if you touch a piece you must move it! This is a fun experience and we have players of all ages and skills come in from around the state to match their skills!
Entry Fee: $15 -
3:00 PM: Prizes & Awards
Trophies and cash prizes awarded at the conclusion of play.
Whether you’re brand new to chess, a casual player, or a seasoned competitor, this event offers a relaxed and exciting way to learn, play, and connect with the local chess community.
