SUMMARY:Art Festival at Mansfield Central Park
DESCRIPTION:Mansfield Central Park will host a community event on Saturday\, April 20 at 9 a.m. The event is in partnership with Mansfield In Bloom’s “Dazzle With Daffodils\,” the RCDG ArtSector\, Green Room Gallery\, and Mankind Murals. \nAt 11 a.m.\, Green Room Gallery & Production will host a collection of Daffodil inspired artwork created by 23 local artists. The artwork is being recreated on outdoor medium and will be on displayed in Central Park for all to enjoy. The Green Room Gallery will be open for visitors to come in and experience the original art pieces that will be around the Square and artwork of other local artists. \nParticipating artists include: Jody Odom Sr with “New Season\,” Crystal Stokes “Waters of the Deep\,” Ruthie Akuchie “Yellow Field\,” Braxton Daniells “The Mill\,” Robin Morfey “Garden\,” Heather Marks “Daffodil\,” Neil Yoder “The Burning Moon\,” Samantha Schneider “Dance of the Wind\,” Brandon Penny “Friendship Blooms\,” James Fleeson “Game at the Park\,” Clare Boggs “New Spring\,” Robin Shoup-Wilson “Black Butterfly\,” artists from Element of Art with a college\, and Mansfield City Schools 7th and 8th Grade artists collage of 11 pieces. \nLocal musicians performing throughout the afternoon include: Jillia Caudill\, Aurelio Diaz\, the American Collective and Atohi Sayja Nelson. \nThere will be earth-friendly info tables\, blocked printed t-shirts with artist Heather Marks and art prints from the Outdoor Gallery Collection for sale. Trucking Trav’s Food Truck\, located on the North side of the square will offer a variety of items.
