Philadelphia, a hot summer, and the thirteen colonies about to declare their independence from England … if only our founding fathers can agree to do it! 1776 follows John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson as they attempt to convince the members of the Second Continental Congress to vote for independence and sign the Declaration. Enjoy this timeless musical with its funny, insightful, and compelling story, a striking score, and incomparable lyrics.
